研究方向
 
1. 水稻榖粒發育相關基因功能研究及其表現調控分析。

在基礎研究上:利用水稻突變體材料,配合生物資訊及各項基因體分析技術,探討水稻榖粒發育相關基因之功能,期望經由基因功能之了解,作為未來作物生產改進之用。

2. 高價醫藥工業用蛋白基因轉殖及其利用-植物分子農場研究。

在應用研究上 :利用基因轉殖技術,繼續篩選具經濟價值之重要蛋白基因,將之轉入植物(包括水稻、番茄、大豆)基因體,使植物能大量表現外源蛋白,成為蛋白生產工廠,並達到發展植物為分子農場之目標。
